One of my favorite haircuts for spring is the medium bob. It is popping up everywhere. It’s not quite a bob and it’s not quite like having long hair either. The medium bob is about two inches past your shoulders and cut at one length. Part it down the middle or forget the parting and flip it from side to side. This cut will give your hair a chance to grow out for summer in no time while still remaining stylish.

Okay, if you’re ready to go in and simply chop your hair off the bob is also trending right now. Keep it a couple of inches past your earlobes and close to one length, perhaps with some long, wispy bangs. As for hair color, with a bob a classic auburn or brunette is stunningly 1920’s or a super blond is beautiful and beachy. Try to steer away from in between colors like adding high lights to your dark hair. It tends to come off looking dated with this look.

If you’re ready for a drastically new look for spring or really in general, the pixie is super adorable for spring. Celebrities are chopping their locks to save their damaged hair and don a little edge with the pixie. Whether you keep long bangs or chop everything short, if you’re ready for it I say chop away!

Golden blond with layers is super hot right now. Think no bangs or long ones, and healthy thick layers of hair swishing in the wind. Or, try an ombre look for spring while you highlight up working your way into summer.

Shoulder length hair with no bangs is so adorable right now. Again, stay away from major highlights or color differences like big chunks of brown with big chunks of blond, with this one. This carefree cut makes you feel light and breezy. Put it into a ponytail for that cute mini-pony look that screams, “I’m hopping on my bike to pick up some fresh flowers down the street”.

Ask for a long medium thick bang. You can wear them forward, to the side or back when you don’t feel like having them. It’s super versatile. You can be a hipster with forward hanging bangs and big horned rimmed glasses one day or a romantic with them swept to the side and loose curls the next.

The choppy grown out bob is perfect when you’re growing your hair out but need to put a little style put back into it. Ask for layers everywhere, as well as longer bangs. Your hair will feel thick and will grow even fast after not cutting it for a while. It’ll also renew the look of your hair color giving the effect that you just did it.

With so many option for spring it’s hard to choose just one. Maybe combine a few to make your spring haircut all your own.
