Bobby Pins

Bobby Pins No, I’m not talking about regular, plain bobby pins. You need to try out a bobby pin with something cute attached to it, like a cute rosebud or flower to give you a retro vibe. Any old hairstyle can instantly be spiced up a little bit with these easy and cute bobby pins!

Tie Headbands

Tie Headbands When you think of retro hair accessories, your mind probably goes straight to tie headbands. It’s easy, really. Just take a bandana or small scarf you have around the house and tie it in a bow to the side of your hair. After that, you can continue to style your hair as you normally would, whether that’s up, down, curly, or straight!

Bows, Bows, and More Bows

Bows, Bows, and More Bows Bows are such a retro touch to any outfit. Plus, they’re easy to add to any of your favorite, tried-and-true hairstyles if you’re looking to change things up. Bows are great because there are so many different sizes and styles you can go for. You could go with something big and dramatic to overpower your look, or you could go with something smaller to clip in with a classic ponytail!

A Flapper Headband

A Flapper Headband Flapper headbands are a necessity in any girl’s wardrobe. Not only are they just a perfectly chic accessory to dress up any outfit, but how many times have you been invited to a “flapper,” “1920s,” or even “Great Gatsby” themed party and didn’t have any accessories to wear? I think that’s happened to every girl at least once, which is why this chic accessory is an absolute necessity!

A Tiny, Netted Hat

A Tiny, Netted Hat What a classic touch to any look! I think that whether you’re going somewhere fun or sophisticated, you can easily pass off a tiny, netted hat with the rest of your look. Whether you want to wear it ironically a la April Ludgate, or want to wear it to your next big event, this is a beautiful look!

A Beret

A Beret I don’t know if it’s just me, but berets just remind me of Audrey Hepburn. They’re not necessarily very retro because they’re still worn pretty often today, but I think that they do give off a chic, retro vibe without creating too much of a commotion if you aren’t very big into statements.

A Dramatic Hat

A Dramatic Hat Everyone’s seen that floppy hats are big right now. Rather than go the floppy hat route, wear something similar. Stiffer, but just as oversized, hats are so retro and so beautiful. I think that they look stunning and powerful whether you’re on the beach or the runway!

Nice article! I actually step out of my house rocking one of these every day lol I always get good compliments, it's something anyone can pull off and look like a darling!

I love how all these looks have a modern and updated twist as well! Very cute!

I think we would look like cartoons if we stepped out like this... It only looks good in pictures or some theme based parties

In Victorian and Edwardian days ladies had elaborate hairdos and wore their diamonds in them . Hence the tiaras and beautiful elegant side combs.

I agree with Kashish Gupta - none of these (except bobby pins) are good for everyday wear

Love number 4 ,

I think these are all great, cute things that are easy to add to any outfit
