1

Lemon & Honey Paste

Mix freshly squeezed lemon juice with honey until you get a paste which you’ll apply on the area you want to lighten and leave on to work its magic over the next 20 minutes. I’m sure you already knew about the bleaching effects of lemon juice – right? Well, now you know that it can help you lighten unwanted hair as well! This great mask won’t sting or cause a rash which means you can repeat it as often as you want!

UPD:

The lemon and honey combination does more than just lighten hair; it also offers nourishing benefits for your skin. Honey acts as a natural moisturizer, preventing the dryness that often accompanies the use of lemon alone. As a result, not only is your hair subtly bleached, but your skin remains soft and supple. Remember to always conduct a patch test before applying any natural remedy widely to ensure your skin doesn't react adversely, and always use sunguard if you're going out in the sun after treating your skin, as lemon can make skin more photosensitive.

2

Tomato Juice Mask

Want more natural, interesting hair lightening techniques? Well, definitely give tomato juice a shot! All you have to do is to apply slices of tomato all over the area you want to lighten and leave them on for about 5-10 minutes. Keep in mind that the effect of this hair lightening technique depends on the color of hair which means that darker hair might require 2-3 applications.

3

Sun

Sun rays can also help you deal with your unwanted hair and the best thing about it is that you don’t have to put yourself at risk at all! Simply apply a high SPF or even a total block and enjoy sun’s warmth and hair lightening properties without any negative effects! You can do it in the comfort of your own home (or balcony, to be precise), hit the pool or a beach close by – the choice is yours! You might even realize that hair removal you used to practice on certain areas (such as lower back, stomach or arms) has become completely unnecessary!

4

Papaya & Milk Mask

Here’s another cool homemade product that will lighten unwanted hair and moisturize your skin as a bonus! All you’ll have to do is to blend papaya’s flesh, add milk to it and use this paste to massage your face (or any other area you want to lighten and moisturize). Your massage should be done in soft circular movements and last about 10 minutes after which you’ll let the mask sit for another 10 minutes before rinsing it off.

5

Gram Flour and Curd Mask

If your unwanted facial hair is what’s been giving you troubles and you’re not willing to try hair removal yet, try this simple mask that consists of only two ingredients – gram flour and curd. Mix these together, apply on your face and wash off when dry. Repeat the procedure until you’re satisfied with the results.

Wheat Flour Mask

This next hair lightening technique is even easier and I’m sure you’ll find out that you already have everything you’ll need and all you have to do is reach in your kitchen cabinet to get it! Mix flour with water to get a paste, then apply it on your face and leave it on for about 10-15 minutes. It’s very budget friendly which means that you can definitely afford to make a larger dose and hopefully lighten other areas as well!

UPD:

Wheat flour is a great natural remedy for lightening unwanted hair. It’s easy to make a paste with flour and water and apply it to the skin for 10-15 minutes. This can be done to lighten facial hair, as well as hair on other areas of the body.

Wheat flour is a natural bleaching agent and can help to lighten hair without harsh chemicals. It is also a great way to lighten hair without spending a lot of money. It’s important to remember to test the paste on a small patch of skin before applying it to the entire area. This will help to ensure that the paste is not too strong and will not cause any irritation.

It’s important to note that wheat flour will not permanently lighten hair. It can help to lighten the hair temporarily, but the effects will only last for a few days. For best results, it’s important to repeat the process every few days to maintain the desired level of lightening.

Orange and and Lemon

Hair lightening plus exfoliation? Sign me up! To make this work you just need to mix half a cup of orange peel powder and add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Mix this together until it creates a paste that you will then apply to the area. This paste will leave a radiant glow on your face or wherever you choose to use it.

UPD:

Apply this blend with gentle circular motions, ensuring that you distribute it evenly over the area with unwanted hair. Let it sit for about 20 minutes before rinsing off with lukewarm water. For the best results, do this treatment once a week. The natural acids in lemon work as a mild bleaching agent, while the orange peel provides gentle exfoliation, which may help reduce hair visibility over time. Remember to moisturize after, as citrus can be drying for some skin types. It's a great way to nourish your skin while working on making those hairs less noticeable.

8

Papaya and Tumeric

Mix one-half teaspoon of turmeric powder in raw papaya pulp. Gently massage your face with it and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing it off. Do this once a week.

Alternatively, apply a mixture of one-half cup of papaya pulp and one tablespoon of milk. Leave it on for about 10 minutes and then wash it off.

9

Potato

Sounds kind of crazy right? Well sometimes crazy isn't a bad thing. Simply enough, just cut a potato in half and rub it on the area where your unwanted hair is. Of course, I completely understand that this may sound ridiculous, but it's been said to work. This is something that you're going to have to use multiple times before you see results.

10

Lemon Juice and Olive Oil

We already know that lemon juice works, but here's a technique that combines a couple of the already mentioned ingredients. Put 3 parts lemon juice concentrate and 1 part water in a spray bottle, then add 1 tbsp. olive oil to the mixture to prevent the hair and skin from drying out. Then mix the items well and spray it over the upper lip, side burns, chin or any other place that unsightly hair exists. After this, go outside and sit in the sun for 30 minutes to let the lemon juice work its magic. If you don't want to sit in the sun, you can use a blow dryer on low to medium heat to heat the hair. You'll have to repeat the process each day for a minimum of 5 days, or until the desired result is reached.

11

Citrus and Yogurt Lightener

The last on my list of natural concoctions that could help you lighten unwanted hair is a simple paste you’ll get by mixing dried and powdered orange peels, few drops of lemon and yogurt. Apply this paste on the area you’d like to lighten then let it work its magic over the next 15-20 minutes. Rinse off and repeat the next day in case you feel your facial hair could be just a tad bit lighter.

Have you ever used any of these recipes to lighten unwanted hair and which one of these hair lightening techniques are you planning on using? Do remember to do a patch test before and let me know how it turned out, of course!
