Tousled hair is my favorite summer go-to hairstyle! The best part is that it's such an easy look to achieve (perfect for lazy girls like me). All you have to do is wash and towel dry your hair before you sleep, apply a curl cream, split your hair into two pigtails, twist each one into a bun and secure with scrunchies. When you wake up, undo the buns, run your fingers through your hair and finish off with a sea-salt spray.

Think Kim Kardashian. Sleek ponytails are chic and perfect for both day and night. Plus they keep your hair away from your face which is a huge plus in this balmy, sweaty weather. This works best with second-day hair. Use a strong hold gel or serum at the front of your hair, then brush it into a high ponytail and secure with a bungee. Spritz on some finishing hairspray and voila!

The messy bun is the epitome of effortless style. You can rock this look in a pinch and it's always got your back. Cute, easy going, and simple to do, the messy bun is your BFF.

When it comes to formal occasions, a chignon is THE way to go! It looks way more complicated than it actually is and you can go as neat or as messy as you'd like (I personally prefer it somewhere in between). Add a pretty accessory and you're ready to dazzle!
