There are some simple ways to add some glamour to your hair and with the festive season coming up, it's a great way of making your look shimmer and shine. Here are my favorite ways to add some glamour to your hair for the festive season and beyond. ## 1. It depends on whether the event calls for it and you do need to be careful that you don't end up looking like you belong on the top of the christmas tree! Hair glitter can literally make you shimmer and glow during the festive season. You can even make your own hair glitter. Just mix some water, glitter and a little hair spray in a spray bottle and you have your very own way to sparkle for those nights on the town! ## 2. If your outfit is simple then you can add some overstated glamour to your hair. However, if your outfit is already bold, you may not want to take the attention away from it with lively hair accessories. ## 3. Fabulous Flowers Flowers aren't just for hippies in the sixties and they're not just for the spring and summer months. Flowers can look great in the hair at any time of the year. There are some beautiful floral accessories that can make you look super feminine and chic. ## 4. There are so many ways you can wear scarves in the hair and if you're having a bad hair day or you're in a rush, a hair scarf can become your best friend. Satin and silk are best for your hair and there are some fabulous tutorials on YouTube if you're a hair scarf novice. ## 6. Adding some color can add some interest to an otherwise plain outfit and hair style. There are so many ways to add a pop of color to your hair. For example, if you're blonde, go for a rosy pink ombre and if your hair is a dark brown, navy looks fabulous and alluring. A touch of fuchsia looks beautiful with brown hair.
