You don't want to try too hard (especially going to class) because others will be much more impressed if you look gorgeous after rolling out of bed. Of course, what they won't know is that you actually spent plenty of time trying to make your beauty look effortless. If you're unsure of how to create that illusion, here are a few messy hair looks to make you look casual for class or wherever:
There's no one better to get your beauty advice from than Zoella. She's just as great at doing hair as she is at doing makeup, which is why you should pay close attention to her instructions. All you really have to do is put your hair into a high ponytail, twist it, and then wrap it around itself. After adding a hairband, you're basically finished!
This style is inspired by our favorite lady, Taylor Swift. Start by sectioning off your hair into three parts. There should be a ponytail in the back and two sections of hair on either side of your head. You're going to end up doing a lot of twisting and bobby pinning, so make sure you have enough time on your hands.
You probably already know how to braid your hair, so the first step should be easy. Once you're finished with that braid, you should flip all of your remaining hair to your other side. Then you should curl all of the hair that falls out of your braid, and you're done!
After you wash and dry your hair, it doesn't take long to create messy curls. You're simply going to take a straightening iron and use it to twist your hair ever so slightly. Then you can spray some hairspray into your hair while scrunching your hair. Brush some of those curls out and you're all finished!
Here's another messy hair updo for you to use. Start by sectioning off your hair into three pieces, and then crisscross the section of hair at the back of your head. After you tease it, you should wrap it into a miniature bun. Then it's time to work on the other sections, which you'll end up loosely pinning wherever you'd like.
If you're not interested in creating a topknot, you can create another type of messy bun. Start by teasing your hair, and then put your hair back into a ponytail. Then you can loosen that ponytail to create a hole in the center and stick the bottom of your hair through the hole you just created. Make sure to pin the leftover pieces of hair over your elastic to hide it.
If you don't have a lot of time to do your hair before class, this is one of the easiest styles to create. You just have to backcomb your hair and then stick it up into a high ponytail. Then you can add hair extensions if you have them, and create one more ponytail with them. After that, you should tug on the hair at the top of your head a bit to create the look you're going for.
Whether it's school or another non-fancy place, you want to make sure you look perfect without actually looking like you put in effort, right? So... Which one of these messy hair looks is your favorite?
