When you do not have your hair trimmed regularly, you start to develop split ends. They can keep right on splitting and really affect the health of your hair. They are a big contributor to hair breakage, as well.

A vitamin that promotes hair health can really make a big difference in how fast your hair grows and the overall health of it. Biotin is also something you can take for your hair health and growth. There are a lot of decent drugstore products available if you cannot afford salon products. I have had especially good luck with Dove hair products. If possible, splurge for the salon products.
7. Be Patient
Another component of growing your hair out long and getting it healthy is to just have patience. Being patient while it grows is the hardest part of all. Your hair will probably go through some awkward stages where you will be tempted to cut it but you just have to wait it out. It takes time but these good habits will pay off. Soon you will have long, healthy, beautiful hair if you stay the course.
