Conditioning correctly and knowing the right conditioner for you is honestly the greatest way to keep your hair full! You don't want something too heavy and you don't want to over-condition. You should also leave the conditioner in for about 10 minutes and rinse it out in cool or cold water.

2. Castor Oil

Castor Oil You probably don't think that something like castor oil can actually help not just the thickness of your hair, but also make sure that it's totally volumized, right? 3. Dry Shampoo

Dry Shampoo While you might think that constantly washing your hair every single day is ideal, skipping a few days is so much better for you hair! Luckily, dry shampoo can allow you to do that! Just a few sprays of this awesome powdery liquid is a great way to soak up any oil that you have along your scalp and it can leave your hair smelling amazing!

4. No Hairspray

No Hairspray Did you know that hairspray can actually totally weigh your hair down in the worst way? Ditch the hairspray and instead, opt for something lighter, such as a light spritzing of hair gel. You want to keep it light and airy, not something that is going to make your hair stick together.

5. Upside-down Blow Drying

Upside-down Blow Drying Now, I actually use this tip every single morning – I blow dry all of my hair upside down and use a bit of root lifter (which we'll get into later!) and I swear, my hair has all kinds of volume and is super full, all day! It's an awesome trick and if you are already blow drying your hair – it is just one more step!

6. Coconut Oil

Coconut Oil Coconut oil (yep! The one you find in your grocery store!) is a great way to really thicken up your hair and even a great way for you to get a full head of hair. All you need to do is melt it down, wait until it cools, apply it to your hair and after about twenty minutes, wash it out! It'll leave your hair super soft and so shiny!

7. Root Lifter

Root Lifter Remember when I talked about upside down blow drying? Well, a little root lifter added onto that can go a really long way! I use Pantene's root lifter spray gel and it's incredible! Not only does it not leave my hair feeling weighed down, but it's a product that I've been using for years!

To boost your hair's volume at the roots, consider integrating a root lifting product into your routine. Simply apply it to damp hair, focusing on the area near your scalp, before you style. It's a fantastic complement to other volumizing techniques, acting almost like a mini scaffold for your strands. Plus, you don't need to worry about buildup or stiffness; quality root lifters should keep your locks looking natural and flexible. Whether it's for everyday elegance or a special event, a little lift can make a noticeable difference in your hair's body and bounce.

8. Massage

Massage Massage your scalp for a few minutes every night before you go to bed. Doing this helps to activate your hair follicles and promotes growth. When your hair grows more it will likely grow thicker as well. You can even throw in some natural oils to this massage if you feel like the massage isn't enough.

9. Vitamin E

Vitamin E Vitamin E is good for a lot of different health reasons, but I bet you didn't know it's good for your hair! Vitamin E promotes hair growth as well as help to prevent hair loss. The less hair you lose the more hair you have, so it's always good to take preventative measures.

10. Hair Masks

Simply blend these wholesome ingredients, apply generously to your hair, cover with a shower cap, and let it sit for about 30 minutes. After rinsing, you'll likely notice your hair feels softer and appears shinier, making it seem more voluminous and full.

13. No Smoking

No Smoking Finally, if you can, ditch the smoking habit! This is another thing that can break down your hair and can actually cause it to fall flat. I know it's addictive, but if you can ditch the cigarettes, so much the better for your health and your hair!

It doesn't make it oily as long as you don't use a ton... I use a tiny bit because it goes a LONG way. Using a little everyday is better than a lot every once in a while.
