It's summer, and to my delight, gorgeous braids and braided hairstyles are still totally on-trend. So whether you're more Elsa or Katniss, or someone in between, here are a few gorgeous braided hairstyles to kick your summer style up a notch (or three).
Via Hairstyles for Long Hair
This is my favorite braided hairstyle, and it's actually pretty simple to do! Tiny braids from each side of your hair, pulled across to make a band, and fastened with a boddy pin or clip behind each ear. It's so pretty! Maybe not the best for humid summer days, but ideal for indoors (air conditioning) or cooler nights.
Braided headbands are a great way to add a unique and stylish look to your hair. They are easy to create and can be done in a variety of styles.
To make a braided headband, start by sectioning off the hair you want to use for the headband. Next, create two small braids from each side of your head, and then pull them across the back of your head and secure them with bobby pins or clips behind each ear. You can also add some texture to the braid by weaving in ribbons or beads.
A great thing about braided headbands is that they are versatile and can be worn in many different ways. You can wear them with a bun, a ponytail, or even a half-up, half-down hairstyle. They are also perfect for days when you want to keep your hair out of your face.
Braided headbands are also a great option for humid days, as they help keep your hair in place and away from your face. They can also be a great way to add color to your hair without having to use permanent dyes.

Start at one side, with a French braid, then for the end, finish with a fishtail.
The French to Fishtail braid is a beautiful and versatile hairstyle that is perfect for many occasions. It starts with a French braid on one side of the head and ends with a fishtail braid on the other side. This creates a unique and eye-catching look that can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.
This hairstyle is perfect for any season and is a great way to add a bit of glamour to a casual outfit. It is also a great way to keep your hair out of your face and away from your neck. To create this look, start by sectioning your hair into two parts. Begin the French braid on one side and work it all the way down to the end of your hair. When you reach the end, switch to a fishtail braid and finish it off.
This hairstyle is easy to maintain and can last for days if you use a light hairspray to keep the braids in place. To make the look more interesting, you can add accessories like clips or headbands. You can also add highlights or lowlights to the braid to give it more dimension and depth.
