Sleeping with Braids

This tutorial has a few ideas for wearing your hair while you sleep. If you have short hair, then you can try wearing a beanie to keep your hair in place while you sleep. However, if you have long hair, then you can try sectioning your hair into three and braiding it. If you want loose waves, braid it loosely. If you want tight waves, then braid it tightly. When you take your hair out in the morning, you'll have a hairstyle ready to go.

Sleeping with your hair in braids not only gives you a head start on morning styling but also protects against tangles and breakage. To ensure comfort and minimize hair damage, choose satin or silk scrunchies to fasten the braids. For an extra layer of protection, consider wrapping your braided hair in a silk scarf or sleeping on a silk pillowcase, which helps reduce friction. When you unleash your braids after a good night's rest, use a light hairspray or serum to define your waves and keep them frizz-free throughout the day.

Wake up with Curls

If you want to wake up with curls, then you don't need to use a curling iron in the morning. Instead, you can let your hair curl itself while you're asleep. How? Well, you can try putting on a headband and wrapping your hair around it. You could also try using fabric or even newspaper to curl your hair overnight!

Sleeping in a Bun

If you love the way your hair looks, then you should sleep on a silk pillowcase. That way, your hair won't get messed up overnight. You can also try pinning up your hair up in a super loose bun, so that you don't toss and turn on your hair overnight. That way, you should look fabulous in the morning.

Sleeping in Rope Braids

The woman in this tutorial has super long hair. When she goes to bed, there's one of three things that she can do. She'll either create a side braid that's easy for her to sleep in, she'll create rope braids, or she'll create pigtail braids. No matter what she chooses to do, she'll wake up with her hair looking as gorgeous as ever!

Wake up with Straight Hair

If you want to wake up with your hair as straight as it was when you went to bed, then you should watch this tutorial. All you have to do is grab a few bobby pins and a bonnet. You're basically going to put pieces of your hair up with those bobby pins and then cover it all with your bonnet. Plus, that bonnet will help keep your hair healthy!

Wake up with Short Curly Hair

If you have short, curly hair, then this is the tutorial for you. Like you learned in the last tutorial, you should buy a satin bonnet. Make sure that you sleep with that satin bonnet while resting your head on a satin pillow. As a bonus, this video also has some tips on how to make your curls look better than ever once you take that bonnet off in the morning.

Wake up with Waves

Here's one last tutorial that'll give you some ideas on how to wear your hair overnight. This one in particular will show you how to create waves for the next morning. If you follow the advice, all you'll have to do in the morning is take a few seconds to smooth out those beautiful curls. Doesn't that sound nice?

Waking up with waves is a great way to give your hair a beautiful, effortless look without having to spend a long time styling it. This tutorial will show you the steps to create the perfect waves overnight. All you need is a few bobby pins and some hairspray.

Start by sectioning your hair into four parts. Take each section and twist it away from your face. Secure each twist with a bobby pin and spray with hairspray. Once all four sections are pinned, wrap your hair into a bun and secure with a few more pins.

When you wake up in the morning, gently remove the pins and let your hair down. You should have beautiful, natural-looking waves. To enhance the look, run your fingers through your hair and spritz with a bit more hairspray.

Wearing your hair in an overnight wave style is a great way to look put together without having to spend a lot of time styling your hair. With a few simple steps, you can have a gorgeous hairstyle that will last all day.

Messy Braid

Sleep on this french fishtail slip braid! Start with a french braid and transition into a fishtail ending with a slip braid. Braid as tight as possible and lightly spritz with hairspray before you sleep to wake up with a beautifully messy braid! You can say you honestly woke up like this!

Overnight Pixie

If you have a super short pixie cut, we haven't forgotten about you--you have the easiest haircut to style overnight! All you have to do is spray dry shampoo on your hair in sections before bed and massage it into your roots. Run a brush through your hair and then catch some zzzz's.

Beach Waves without an Iron

Loose, beautiful curls will soon be yours with five claw clips pinned to your hair in a twisted bun. Simply remove in the morning and it'll look as if you just curled your hair. It's so simple and gorgeous--you'll look like you woke up early to style these knockout waves!

Now you have a few new hairstyles to sleep in! How do you usually wear your hair while you sleep?

Would not say the woman in #4 has super long hair...mine is twice that length easy

I did the sleeping in braids last night. Totally worked!

@courtney I was gonna say the exact same thing 😅

1 & 3 I've already done!

Really nice, but it is not efficient for people like me who have short neck length hair. Sorry but the styles really are gorgeous.
