Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

I agree that if your hair is curly/wavy/frizzy, NOTHING does what keratin does. I discovered it 3 years ago after decades of fighting with my hair and now for the first time in my life my hair looks great. Not good--great! I blow dry it in half the time it used to take, I flat iron for like 2 minutes, and not only does it look like a professional blow out but it stays the way I left it. It doesn't morph or frizz in the humidity. But for me, it was too expensive. I have a lot of hair and it cost $450. I started doing my own treatments two years ago and I find them very easy. There are a lot of crappy home keratin products out there, and the salon business won't sell you the good products, either, but I found two that give me a result as least as good as my stylist's job: Uncurly and Global. You can definitely do this yourself and save a fortune, but not with the junk sold at the drugstore.

Can u share the products with us ? Please😄

@heather Jensen A keratin treatment is NOT a straightener. If straight hair is what you want, you do something else - have a straightening service. It is a SMOOTHING service which reduces frizz and hair will then be resistant to the effects of humidity. It cuts down drying time and makes your blowdry last longer. Not a straightening service, but highly recommended. Regarding the comment about bad effects, just avoid formaldehyde.

what are these products? thanks for the tips

,I absolutely love this treatment. My hair looks more natural and there is volume as well unlike that straight poker hair look, this looks more natural. :)
