- Trimming your hair to make it grow faster is a myth. Hair grows from the scalp therefore trimming doesn't improve growth. It does leave your hair looking healthy which is why trims are good- but for growing out your hair trimming it won't help at all.

- This company is a complete JOKE. First of all, before I go into the review on the hair itself, this is my second time posting a review here for these extensions because the Luxy sisters do everything they can to prevent negative/honest reviews of their product. First they spammed the reviews by making fake accounts and doing their own fake reviews, and then they got ALL the reviews deleted. There was not one postive review of these hair extensions on this site. Do a search on the hairboard for more info.
On to the hair. I ordered this hair because all over the internet were glowing reviews on how great this hair is and I was in the market for some longer extensions. These happened to be cheaper than my old fave extensions (Headkandy) so I placed an order for the 160 gram set. They only come in 20 inches.
When I got them, they came in a huge box, and in a huge plastic thing that lots of extensions come in. As soon as I opened the box I saw the extensions are made of chinese hair. My heart sank a bit since Chinese hair is generally lower quality. When I opened the plastic case thing and felt the hair I thought there had been a mistake. I ordered 160 grams, but the hair was SO THIN! It was less than half as thick as my 150 gram Headkandy set. So I looked to make sure they hadn't given a 120 gram set by accident. This was no mistake, the hair is just thin :( The ends were also thin and ratty looking, but that was the least of my concerns after actually wearing them.
I wore them anyways and this is where it really got bad. These extensions tangle and matte up like no other. I would be driving, turn my head to look out the window and by the time I turned back there would be a HUGE birds nest tangle. It was ridiculous. I have tons of other extensions (euronext, headkandy, dollie, hello gorgeous, clip fancy, glamour, premium too, etc) and none ever tangled like this. Anyone who has had extensions, knows that real remy hair should not do this. I do not believe the hair is remy, or if it is, its just a really low grade hair that they use. Either way the hair is horrible.
I emailed them and asked why it was so thin, and why it tangled like that and they were actually rude. I couldnt believe it. They did respond quickly, like the same day, but they were not nice about it.
Overall, these extensions were the worst I have ever tried, they look nothing like how they do on the Luxy sisters, they are thin, poor quality and the customer service sucks.

- Personally I am getting tired of people discouraging others when they want to cut thier hair. What if someone has never cut thier hair short and would look awesome in short hair, but never tried it because their friends told them not to?! You only live once! The pros and cons of short hair are exactly proportionate to the pros and cons of long hair. The most boring/unstylish people I know are the ones who have the same haircut their whole lives. Live free people!!

- i dont know weather this is a myth , probably not , but when a red head tans it stays for AGES. its really hard for me to tan, but i went to france for 3 weeks and i came back and you could see my nearly white skin next to the tan and my tan did not completely fade for months ! it was so weird. we may not be vampires , but maybe some sort of unnatural tanners ;)

- Hi i was wondering what your suggestions for me to use would be. I have read over the all the treatments but can't seem to decide which one / two I should use. I have hair that is leaning to the thinner side and it won't grow. I would like to thicken it and gain length for the summer. I would also like these results to last. In the past I've tried using treatments and found the results temporary, only lasting a month or two. I was thinking about using the curry leaves and coconut oil as well as pairing it up with something else (castor oil, egg yolks with olive oil etc.) What should I use and for how long ??? Thank you so much for your help !
